Everyone I loved was there, fully there, inside a house of nature overlooking views made of hope.
We saw true colours of emotion and fields of fearless wonder. And on the backs of heroes we explored the wild yonder.
Here time moved slowly – slower than the shadows in our hearts, giving peace a chance to grow deep inside of us.
Few have ever known the great secrets we were taught: the art of flight within our hands reflecting at our feet.
And so I came to know that certain secrets are only known by the senses that we live by.

A beautiful modern kitchen equipped with everything to ignite your inner culinary chef! A dining room with fireplace to make it extra cozy and special, ready to celebrate life with friends and family. Sliding doors to connect with the outdoors. The sitting room/ family room has stylish and comfortable couches and fireplace, a perfect space to play a game of cards and create great memories. And the billiard/ games room is equipped with pool table and puzzlebuilding tables. Puzzles provided 😀

Please note for guests travelling with their own transport, there are two outside parking spots in front of the house. Please do not leave any valuables inside your vehicle at any time.

Dullstroom is situated in a summer rainfall region.
Sensiri Myst is well-known as a fly-fishing destination. While the dams and rivers in Walkersons have no closed season, the best time of year for fly-fishing is around July- September.
DULLSTROOM EXPERIENCES
On a winter’s morning the countryside in South Africa where this house stands has the feeling of the Scottish Highlands. There is a bridge with crystal clear water streams, inviting you to fly-fishing. Soft mist is cuddling in the valley. But as the sun greets the day warmly and the mist lifted momentarily it shows dragonflies dancing on the water.
Suddenly it leaps out of the water, so briefly you almost missed it… and then it was gone. A soft ripple on the water – the only evidence that a moment ago a dragonfly was there… and the water returns to the calm before. Slowly another dragonfly comes dancing to its reflection too. But just as quickly another one showed itself – breaking the water just enough to show its magnificent spotted body in rainbow colours, before again one life melts into another.
You bring fur and feather together in a very sophisticated interpretation of nature, representing life itself. And then, the fly line moving through the air, floating, unrolling, seemingly weightless, appearing to defy the law of gravity. With perfect finesse the fly lands on the water, almost a pure dragonfly through colour and shape. Then, the line snapping tight with lightning speed! Muscle leaping out in a desperate attempt to be free! But, for a moment, in your hands you hold the catch of your art, before you let it swim away, to meet again another day.
