Close your eyes… Open your soul… Let the smell of fresh earth light up your senses. Now open your eyes. Look. See trees pushing up into the sky. See grass dancing in the wind. Feel the sun kissing your skin gently. Listen. A sound that you have never heard before? Or one that makes you smile.
Because you know this is the sound of Africa!

Our beautiful safari lodge, situated in the heart of the Manyoni Private Game Reserve (previously known as the Zululand Rhino Reserve), provides guests with access to over 23,000 hectares of pristine African savannah and bush.

It is a great privilege to experience the wilderness the way it should be and not the way we imagine it to be. But it is also an enormous responsibility, for we all have to commit to protect the vulnerable and endangered. Therefore, we strive to create a meaningful experience that will shift our guests’ perspective towards protecting our precious planet. Witness the incredible diversity of the reserve and experience the magnificent beauty of the critically endangered,
like the pangolin and black rhino.

Welcome to our charming Safari Lodge. It is pure comfort indoors, surrounded by untamed nature outdoors. This is truly a unique place to stay and soak up the bush atmosphere. Our self-catering lodges have a mix of rustic and luxurious elements to offer you a complete escape from ordinary life. For your comfort and relaxation all our bedrooms are air-conditioned. Watch wildlife grazing peacefully on rolling, soft grass plains, soak up the African sun by a refreshing swimming pool and enjoy evening meals around the firepit under star-studded skies.

This lodge boasts two-spacious bedrooms, both en-suite and air-conditioned for extra comfort. The main bedroom has an inside bath and romantic outside shower for bathing under the stars. It boasts a modern kitchen, outside dining area with captivating views from the private viewing deck overlooking the watering hole, and a private firepit which includes a braai area and gas pizza oven.

Nestled between the trees this charming two-bedroom lodge, each with an en-suite bathroom, has a trail of history still embedded in its floor, as this one being one of the most original of the buildings. A fully kitted out modern kitchen with an inside dining area was added on. Come and relax on the lovely private viewing deck and let the cool summer breeze delight you.

Next to a magnificent marula tree with splendid views of the reserve stands this comfortable two-bedroom lodge with it’s very spacious, open plan sitting room, dining room and modern kitchen. Absorb the wilderness from your own private viewing deck in sheer silence, total tranquillity and luxury.

This luxurious and comfortable communal area generates a sense of leisure, tranquility and serenity.  Escape rush hour.  Escape from life for a bit.  The African bush invites you to soak up the sun, consume unfamiliar sounds, relax your soul and unwind a little.  This is the perfect place to relax with close friends and family.  Our lodge area is fenced off for peace of mind but do keep an eye on the watering hole for extraordinary visitors!
