Many movies have some scenes shot in Austria, not to mention whole movies filmed there, like The Sound of Music, which was filmed in and around Salzburg, Spectre, Where Eagles Dare, XXX, The Day Of The Jackal, The Castle and many more. This is a great time to visit some of these filming locations and your chance to take a selfie at a location from your favorite movie! Moreover Austrian hospitality and cuisine are legendary. So, what are you waiting for?
Staying in the mountains in a wooden chalet is simply so romantic and starkly beautiful. Crisp white linen and soft oak floors welcome you inside where you will be cosy and relaxed for your stay. Passport Requirements
Ensure that you have at least two blank visa pages in your passport for travel and that it is valid for at least three months after your return date.
ALPINE EXPERIENCES
Choose from a range of adventure sports, like swimming, high-ropes courses, paragliding, canyoning, rafting & tubing, trail running and Nordic walking, mountain biking, tennis, horse riding and horse drawn carriages, fishing, mini golf and bird watching. Crystal clear lakes formed by the melting snow are very popular for swimming, canoeing, rafting and tubing.
Roads twisting through mountains, often cutting through them by tunnel, makes for a very satisfying scenic drive. Awe-inspiring ancient glaciers should not be passed by. Be sure to take a day trip to the Grossglockner – at nearly 4000m the highest mountain in Austria east of Brenner Pass. Also visit the Krimmler Wasserfälle – with a total height of 380m – the highest waterfall in Austria.
Gone Fishing
One of the least know fly fishing destinations in Europe, Austria has some of the best rivers for trout and grayling fishing. Your dream to fish surrounded by tall mountains is just a cast away!
Picturesque Peaks
Rock climb to the heart of the Alps. Or take on Grossglockner, the highest of these peaks – if you dare.
Young Hearts Run Free
Although Austria is nearly three times smaller that the UK, it boasts no less than ten roads that offer the ultimate motorcycling experience – many of which are within reach for daytrips from Sensiri Summit!
Soar Like an Eagle
What a magical feeling to be part of a world of blue skies over small objects on the ground! Find that rising air to catch a current and stay aloft for hours at a time, traveling for miles.
Après-Ski and Clubbing
I wish some nights would last forever. The night is young. Celebrate! No one ever looked back on their life and remembered the nights they got plenty of sleep…
For the Foodies
Find fresh ingredients from local markets to lovingly prepare dishes that will tantalize taste buds even before the first bite!
Hearty and Delicous Cuisine
Choose from world-renowned restaurants and enjoy delicious cuisine from the natural bounty of the valley and mountains. Trout from the lakes. Delightful dumplings. Enjoy this with award-winning wines.
Land of the Lakes
Be mesmerized by the pristine waters of ancient glacier lakes. The lakes are a source of immense pride and joy. A variety of water sports can be enjoyed.
Relax. Rewind. Renew.
While here, make time to relax and renew in the comfort of our private spa at Hause D3 or explore new spa venues close to the village.
Krimmler Wasserfälle
“If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water” – Loren Eiseley

During the summertime cycling is king. Stop often and immerse yourself in the views of the mountains.

This adventure takes place in
ZILLERTAL, AUSTRIA
Austria is a mountainous Alpine country in the southern part of Central Europe. It is famous for its castles, palaces and buildings, among other architectural works. Austrian hospitality and cuisine are legendary.
Austria is also referred to as the “land of lakes” when melting snow from the caps gather in the basins, opening up previously snow covered roads, offering new routes and adventure sports.
What an experience to see the countryside transform from being covered in snow to bedazzling green.
